An absentee ballot was prepared Monday by Representative John W. Byrnes (right) and given to City Clerk Clifford Centen in Green Bay. Byrnes, Republican favorite son candidate in the presidential primary, attended a GOP caucus in Green Bay Monday and returned to Washington for a vote Tuesday on the food stamp plan bill.
