Governor Alf M. Landon gave warm praise to party leaders in the state for the manner in which they planned his two day stay in Wisconsin. This throng, solidly massed about the Sunflower special, turned out at Fond du Lac to greet the republican presidential candidate. Estimates of the number who saw and heard the governor up to the time he reached Milwaukee ran as high as 100,000.
