1971 Press PhotoGraders working six block area to become Martin Luther King Park

The beginning of a park - Graders are working in the six block area that is to become Martin Luther King Park in the inner city. The area is bounded by 14th, 17th, Juneau and Vliet. Work will start next week on an "adventure playground" to be built from old telephone poles, creating bridges and other climbing units for younger children. Developers hope to have the play areas ready to use this summer
