Visitors of East Germany will live in Oberaudorf During the Olympic Games.: Even in Oberaudorff/Bavaria( our picture) one has to be prepared for the Olympic Games; but in contrast to Munich this small community with 1.800 beds for tourists has only got gastronomical problems to solve. For the first time the authorities of East Germany gave their permission that 2000 people may visit West Germany on Occasion of the Olympic Games in Munich. About half of them will live in Oberaudorf during this time. The habitants of this climatic health-resort in the Bavarian Alps and their burgmoaster Hans-resort in the Bavarian Alps and their burgomaster Hans REchonauer (suspended picture) wait impatiently for their guests of "the other Germany". they are ready to please the visitors with delicious food, Bavarian folk-art and theatrical performance and will try to avoid politional discussions.
