Also the Statues change sex: The ancient statue placed at the entrance of the Vatican library does not represent the Saint Hyppolitus, Christian theologian of the III Century, but a woman. Prof. Mangherita Guarducci done the discovery after long studies. As prof. Guaducci explained the lover part of the statue represents without any doubts, the legs of a woman seating on a seat at the manner of the philosophers. Prof. Sea Guarducci says that the half statue should be used again by the Christians of the III Century who placed it on the Catabombs of St. Hyppolitus and inscribed the words that cite the name. 425 years ago the marm cam out and it was added the bust of an other statue of a philosopher and an other bearded head engrave by an artist under the instructions of the papa~l architect Pirro Ligorie.
