Historic Sale at Sotheby's Seven Impressionists Paintings Sold for £781,000: Seven impressionist paintings wree sold for £781,000 in 21 minutes at Sotheby's last night six of them will go to America, and the seventh was bought by a London dealer.The top price of £220,000 paid for Cezanne's "Boy in a Red Waistcoat" more than doubled the world record of £104,000 paid for a Gaugin in Paris last year.It was bought by Mr.Georges keller, of the Carastairs Gallery, New York.Van Gogh;s Public Garden at Arles",sold for £132,000 and Manet's "Flags in the rue Mosnier",£113,000 also beat the world record.The total of £781,000 was another world record. Last night's sale was of pictures from the estate of the New york milliona~~ Mr.Jacob Goldschmidt.
