Celebrations To Mark The 800th Anniversary of The Death of Thomas Becket-At Lambeth Palace.
A dress rehearsal was held this afternoon at Lambeth Palace to mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Thomas Beckett. Doctors, Nurses and medical students at St. Thomas's hospital are staging a Pageant and Son at Lumière in the ground of the Palace from June 17-20 and June 22-24. A cast of over 100 will take part and the scenes will depict historical events over the past 800 years connect with the life of St. Thomas and the Hospital named after him.
