Swaziland Independence Conference Police Remove Pickets: The opening ceremony of the Swaziland Independence Conference took place at Marlborough House, London. The Secretary of the State for Commonwealth Affairs, Mr. George Thomson, Presided at the ceremony. Leader of the Swaziland delegation was Prince Makhosini Dlamini. the First Prime Minster. Two Oppositions leader who arrived in London at the week-end to picket the conference laid across the entrance to Marlborough House, and had to be removed by the police. They were Dr. A.P. Zwane and Mr. K.T. Samketi, respectively President and deputy leader of the Ngwame National Liberation Congress (NNLC). Photo Shows Dr. A.P Zwane and Mr. K.T. Samketi - seen obstructing the entrance to Marlborough House -and had to be stopped over today.
