New Extension of Radio Chemical Centre.. Products For Products for Export..: The new extension of the Radio Chemical Centre at Ameraham - is being opened today by lord Salisbury.. The new Buildings were made necessary by the increasing scope of the Centre's work - and world wide demands for its products.. All the latest handling equipment has been installed - for protection of the operators against radio-activity. Picture Shows: Looking through a 4 inch protective glass window - Miss Sheila Morrison handles Gamma Emitting radio isotopes with the aid of mechanical handless behind a lead shielded cell at the new buildings.
