Peers with their stately homes join forces: The owners of seven famous British historic homes, who were once deadly rivals in promoting their properties at attract visitors, have now joined forces in a joint promotion for distribution through the British Tourist Authority, the English Tourist Board and major London hotels, to encourage tourists, particularly from overseas to visit all these famous fine examples of Britain's history. they are The Duke of Malborough (Blenhein Palace). The Duke of Argyll (Inverary Castle), The Marquess of Bath (Longleat House), the Marquess of Tavistock (Woburn Abbey), The Earl of Harewood (Harewood House), Lord Montagu (Beauliey Abbey) and Lord Brooke (Warwick Castle).
