Labour Party Press Conference: Mrs. Judith Hart, M.P. today gave a Press Conference, at Transport House. Mrs. Hart, who is Chairman of the Labour Partyâs Southern Africa Solidarity fund, gave details of the progress of the Partyâs support for the Liberation Movement of Southern Africa and announced a new appeal for funds. The Solidarity Fund was set up after a Resolution calling upon the National Executive Committee to âoffer full support, moral and material, to the liberation movement in South Africaâ was carried at the 1970 Annual Conference.
