Demonstrations at Tokyo's New International Airport: Farmers Trade unionists and Students, 2000 in all took part in a demonstration protesting over the New International Airport at Narita, Tokyo. They burned used tires making clouds of black smoke that drifted across the runway hoping to stop the big jets from landing and taking off during test flights at the new airport, which they hope will become operational in 1978.
