Lord And Lady Longford At Fancy Dress Party: The centre of attention at the party this weekend were, of course, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. That they turned out to be heavily-disguised Lord and Lady Longford disappointed no one. The fancy-dress business was for the 21st. birthday party of their daughter, Catherine, held at Strawberry Hill, the mock-Gothic mansion at Twickenham in Middlesex. Lord Longford, more frequently occupied with parliamentary procedure as leader of the House of Lords, decided that party-wear should have literary or historical associations. Since Lady Longford has just finished a book on Queen Victoria that solved her problem. Photo Shows: Seated in dark dress in Lady Longford, as Queen Victoria, and seated left on floor is her daughter, Catherine. behind, with eyes closed and wearing badge, is Lord Longford as Prince Albert.
