Tokyo's Mounted Police Back On The Job.
Despite computerized electronic traffic signal installations in Tokyo, the Metropolitan Police Department find that their mounted police have a way of keeping traffic moving, and guarding the safety of pedestrians, besides they are mobile and able to trot to points in order to unsnarl traffic jams. looking smart in their new type uniforms, they command a great deal of respect from the citizens as they blow their whistles, and signal with their white-gloved hand as they sit in the saddle of their well-trained horses.
