The "Mrs. Mopps" Prepare For Their Great ~ight out.: Many of the "Mrs. Mops" - employed at a Government office Block - are now bustly preparing for their great night out - Tuesday 25th Feb., when they are to attend the '11th. Annual Mrs. Mopps Ball" at Manor Place Baths., Walworth. Best part dresses will replace the buckets - mops and dusters of the 1,000 chars - all employed by the Government - and they will vie with each other for the title of "Glamorous Grandmother". "Beauty Queen" - "Bathing Queen" etc. Win or lose - a good time will be had by all. Photo shows Mrs. Ivy Weathers - one of the favorites for the contests - proudly shows off her gown to follow Mopps - at the end of their duties for the day - as they prepare for the bill.
