GDR PARTY AND GOVERNMENT DELEGATION IN PRAGUE
A GDR party and Government delegation, headed by Walter Ulbricht, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Social Unity Party of Germany and Chairman of the GDR State Council, and Willi Stoph, member of the Politbureau of the Central Council of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany and GDR Premier, arrived in Prague on October 21,1970 for a four-day official visit at the invitation of the Czechoslovak Communist Party Central Committee, the President and the Czechoslovak government.
Shortly after the arrival the delegation was received at Prague Castle, on the picture from left to right (first row), President Ludvik Svoboda / Walter Ulbricht, First Secretary of the CC of the SED and Chairman of the GDR State Council, Dr.Gustav Husak, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
