NEW LLOYD WEBBER MUSICAL FOR WEST END
"Cats" is the title of new musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber announced today. It will be the first West End musical by him since the award-winning "Evita" opened in London in June 1978. Inspired by poems both published and unpublished by T S Eliot, including the internationally famous "Old Possums Book of Practical Cats", itvis scheduled to, open in London in April 1981. The new show will be directed by Trevor Nunn of the Royal Shakespeare Company and choreographed by Billian Lynne.
