She told her father that she was going for a swim - instead of which she and her sweetheart traveled to Gretna Green - and they hope to marry thereon June 16th. Lilliana explained that her father would not hear of the couple getting married and she also says that it makes no difference if he follows them because "Nothing will change out minds"...
