Peace award of the German Book-trade for Thornton Wilder: On the Occasion of the International Book Exhibition the American Writer Thornton Wilder received during a festive hour the Peace award of the German Book trade. He was presented with the award by the President of the Exchange Assossiation of the German Book-trader and Publisher, Reinhard Jaspert, on Oct 6, 1957. The German President Prof. Theodor Heuss and Several Prize Winners of the Peace award of former years, and them Prof. Albert Schweitzer were present.
