Country House-Owners Set Up Working Party Hold First Meeting: A Working Party to formulate plans for encouraging more visitors to britain's stately homes, today held its first meeting. It has been formed as a result of the conference of historic House owners arranged in May by the British Travel Association, Britain's official tourist organisation. Chairman of the Working Party is mr. Bugh Wontner. Among those serving on the Working Party will be the Marquess of Hartford; Lord Montagu of Beaulieu; Sir Harold Wernher of luton Hoo; Mr. Tom Driberg, M. P. of Bradwell Ledge; Major A. C. Eyre, of Sawston Hall; Mr. George Howard, of Castle Howard; and a representative of the National Trust. Photo shows.
