Italians President In West Germany: In the instance of an invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Karl Carstens, the President of the Italian Republic Sandro Pertini payed a visit to West Germany from 18th until 22th September 1979. On 18th and 19th September he hold a talk with the President of West Germany, with the Chancellor of West Germany Helmut Schmidt as well as with the chairmen of the representative parties of the Federal Diet of West Germany. After his staying in the federal capital the Italian President visited Berlin (west) and Munich.
