Description
San Francisco: Smoke pours from the burning Call Building at Third and Market streets on April 18, 1906 as firemen stand by helplessly following the disastrous earthquake. The picture is from a glass plate negative found recently in the photo archives of the San Francisco police department and now the property of the San Francisco Public Library.
