1987 Press Photo Dick Clark and model Jerry Hall at Sea World of Florida

Five-time Emmy Award winner Dick Clark and supermodel Jerry hall pay a visit to the feathered inhabitants of the Penguin Encounter at Sea World of Florida. Clark and Hall (they're the one in the parkas) were at the Orlando marine life park to host the 1987 Supermodel of the world television special. The show will feature 25 beautiful models from all over the world who are vying for a three-year, $250,000 contract with the Ford Modeling Agency and the right to the title Supermodel of the World. Past winners of this exciting competition have gone on to superstardom in the world of professional modeling. Also appearing in the special will be recent Rock 'n; Roll Hall of Fame inductee Smokey Robinson, Grammy Award winner Laura Branigan and hit recording artists Atlantic Starr. The Supermodel of the World special may be seen in the Houston area on August 12,1987 on station KPRC at 12:30 pm. Sea Word - Florida.
