1964 Press Photo Finnish soldiers line up for inspection at near Nicosia, Cyprus

These hardy Finnish soldiers of the United Nations peacekeeping force on Cyprus line up for inspection at Camp Elisabeth, near Nicosia, today, after completing a 40-mile ride from their transit camp in South Cyprus. These troops will use their cycles for patrol duty in the precarious job of intervening between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. New, fitful shooting broke out on the island again today and one Greek shepherd was known to be have been killed.
