Bill Hall, artist - Picture worth 9 million covers - Arlington artist Bill Hall displays one of his paintings, which will be used as the cover art on 9 million Southwestern Bell Telephone directories in Texas. The Texas sesquicentennial cover art will first appear on the Houston directory that will be delivered to customers on October 30. Hall won $5,000 for beating out about 500 other artists for the honor.
