Two United States Air Force Aerospace Defense Command F-106 Delta Darts fly in formation over the winding Missouri River. The F-106 is the fastest, most advanced all-weather fighter-interceptor in the nation's air defense inventory. Under intercept conditions, its automatic electronic guidance and fire control system guides the aircraft to attack position, detects the target, and if necessary, fires its weapons. Its armament of Genie rockets and Falcon missiles are mounted internally. ADC is a major component of the North American Air Defense (NORAD) Command.
