Military and civilian firefighters are shown battling the blaze which destroyed a $30 million satellite and missile training complex. The fire finally was brought under control early today. The complex, a major element in this country's aerospace surveillance and warning system, was designed to detect, track and identify satellites at altitudes of thousands of miles in space. Cause of the fire was unknown. Eglin Air Force Base (AFB) Florida.
