Survive rebel horror in The Congo - Survivors jam United States (U.S.) Air Force C-130 plane following safe arrival at Leopoldville, The Congo. Survivors, most of whom are Greeks or Cypriots, were rescued by white mercenaries at Wamba Tuesday. Wamba is a missionary center 250 miles northeast of Stanleyville. They related new acts of horror by Congolese rebels, stating that the blood bath at Wasba began November 26 when rebels heard the drone of U.S. planes carrying Belgian paratroopers on their rescue mission to Paulis, 60 miles away. ...safe at Leopoldville.
