Description
Vietnamese peasants chase after their water buffalo that are standing away from United States (U.S.) armored vehicles, left background, moving up a long-unpatrolled road from Bien Hoa east to Ben Vinh in south Viet Nam. The vehicles were taking part in a road reconnaissance mission, with air support, that ended at a bridge blown up by the Communist Viet Cong.

Photo is dated 1965.
