A Chinook helicopter takes off bearing a damaged artillery piece and a bundle of accessories, bottom, after an enemy mortar attack at the foot of Mount Coto, 80 miles southwest of Saigon. Area has been the site of a month-long operation by United States (U.S.) troops searching the enemy in the many caves on the mountainside - a Viet Cong stronghold. Vietnam War - Helicopter.
