Austin, Texas - Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Duckatt (left), plane commander of the first C135 jet transport to take off in Operation Big Lift talks with Brigadier General Keith Ware. Gen. Ware was aboard the first of seven planes carrying an advance party of 2nd Armed Division personnel from Bergstrom Air Force Base, Texas to Germany.
