The Military Science Department and ROTC Corps of Cadets of the University of Houston held their annual final review and commissioning ceremony for 60 officers on the athletic field Thursday. Some of the cadets marching here received awards for their academic and military achievements from Major Warren S. Smith, USA, commandant of cadets, and Cadet Colonel Thomas E.
