Congo - Mission chief Antony Gilpin offers his hand to a young African child as he and the members of his U.N. Mission get a warm reception at Shabunda, a tiny village in the Kivu jungle. The task of the Gilpin mission was to investigate local administration, to reorganize communications and transportation, and get life going again in the strife-torn region.
