The former chairmen of the Gulfgate Shopping City board of trade have been honored by the board for a "job well done." Dr. Gaylord Johnson, left, board founder and chairman for three years, received a proclamation lauding his work. He is a retired executive vice-president of Sakowitz. Meyer G. (Rex) Braun, right, owner of Rex Tailors, was given a plaque for eight years service, two as chairman. Benjamin Paley, center, is manager of Craig's and board chairman of Gulfgate.
