Cattle Killers - Deputy Carlie Asbeck holds a British Sten gun he seized Sunday night from a 16-year-old who, Asbeck said, was endangering livestock in the Clodine area by firing at a roadside target. Asbeck has seized the machine gun, six rifles, 4 pistols and 2 shotguns from night riding teenagers he says have killed about 20 head of cattle in the western part of the county during the last two months, either deliberately or during target firing. "I'm filing charges on anyone caught shooting into pastures from here on," said Asbeck. The 16-year-old- was released to his parents. Cattle killers. Beef blasters.
