The four newly-elected United Methodist bishops for the South Central Jurisdiction were consecrated today in ceremonies at First Methodist Church. One bishop kneels in the midst of the other conference bishops for the traditional "Laying on of Hands" ceremony. The new bishops are the Rev. Robert E. Goodrich Jr. of Dallas, the Rev. Don Holter of Dallas, the Rev. Ernest T. Dixon Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, and the Rev. Don Holter of Kansas City. United Methodist Church
