Description
Mrs. Gloria Bechtold, 48, early today went from a nearby recording studio to a Stop N Go Market at 5511 Richmond to get food for her musician son, Chris, 22. Finding a robbery under way, Mrs. Bechtold tried to drive off, but police, apparently believing she was a robber, fired at her car. One bullet nicked Mrs. Bechtold in the shoulder. Treated at a hospital, she was recuperating at home today. Her husband, W. C. Bechtold, 55, inspects damage to the car at their home at 11629 Tilia in Jacinto City. The real robbers got away.
