Moment for Remembering. Pausing beside a granite memorial marker to the Vietnam war dead, dedicated Thursday at San Jacinto College, are, from left, Michael P. Cherry, president of the Ex-Servicemen's Association; Dave Starsiak, third vice-commander, American Legion Post 521, and Dr. Thomas M. Spencer, president of the college. Dr. Spencer accepted the marker on behalf of SJC. The stone was placed permanently at the east end of Lee Davis Library. Pasadena Mayor John Ray Harrison and the Board of Regents were special guests.
