Robert Smith, 11, struggles against the wind Saturday as he tries to raise a banner promoting the muscular dystrophy fund drive by Houston firefighters. He and his friends finally secured the eight-foot sign to a post with the help of a firefighter from Firehouse No. 14 in the Heights. Firefighters hoped to raise $100,000 in their annual "Fill the Boot" campaign. Last year they collected $76,000. Muscular Dystrophy Association - Houston
