the Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera and the city's Civic Center department Friday began moving their headquarters to Jones Hall for the Performing Arts. Connie Harris, a worker in the symphony box office, stacked materials for a trip down the curving stairs to the underground level where the offices are located. The hall will open October 2. Jesse H.
