The rare incident of two married couples being selected on the same federal jury panel came up Monday when Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Y. Nichols, left, of Conroe, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Batts, Jr., right, of Bryant, were summoned on the same jury panel by Judge Allen B. Hannay. Hannay said that for one couple to be selected is "unusual," but for two to be selected is "unprecedented." Houston, Texas.
