Description
Gregorio Villegas, left, a worker for the Houston Humane society, climbs a tree near the 1700 block of spur in the Spring Branch area today to capture a large monkey that had inhabited trees in the neighborhood for two days. At right, Villegas and fellow worker Andres Rogue remove the animal for confinement in the city's Rabies Control Center. The Humane Society will seek a home for the monkey if it remains healthy during seven days of observation in the center. Monkeys, Houston
