Houston, Texas schools - Mexican Americans. this home on Autumn Run in Sugar Land's Colony Park subdivision is similar to the $285,000 home that Prudential Gil Real Estate plans to build and sell, with proceeds going to benefit Hispanic school dropouts in Houston's East End. Walking past the house are, from left, Joe Lopez, 17, a student at the George I Sanchez High School, which will receive the proceeds from the sale, and a member of the Association for the advancement of Mexican Americans; Ricardo Farias, former director of the AAMA; and Gil Ramirez, of Ramirez and Morgan builders. The private high school, at 204 Clinton, was founded for Hispanic dropouts.
