1974 Press Photo Long Lines Formed At Harris Country Courthouse For Auto License

Autos Licenses, Harris County It's Tagging Time Again Long lines formed at the Harris County Courthouse as 1974 motor vehicle license plates went on sale today. The tags cost $12.30 for cars 3500 pounds and under, $22.30 for cars up to 4500 pounds and $30.30 for cars up to 6000 pounds. Motorists may buy plates at the tax office, 301 San Jacinto, at branch offices in Baytown, LaPorte, Pasadena, Bellaire of Humble and at more than 200 stores in the county. New license plates must be on cars by midnight. April 1.
