Description
Banks, Houston, Bank of Southwest Concrete, The Newest Drapes It appears from the picture that the Bank of the Southwest Towers Building has draped its windows with concrete hangings in many surrealistic shapes. It's an illusion of course, a reflection of the concrete pillars of the Houston Lighting & Power Co. across the street, caught by Chronicle photographer David Nance in the late afternoon sunlight.

Photo is dated 1969.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
