Caption: Five years old seamstress Sandra Kindle makes a happy discovery at the Gray branch of the Detroit Public Library, where she and several other children learned how to transform the lowly sock into a funny puppet. Children's librarian Mcrtis Bennett conducts the free class for children 10 and under every Monday. The class runs through the eastside branch.
