1972 Press Photo Detroit River picknicker foul weather

Caption: Thursday was not the best of days for a picnic on the edge of the Detroit River. But this fellow is not the usual fair-weather picnicker. Braving the freezing drizzle, he took his brown bag of sandwiches down to the river for lunch -- something he says he does most every day, rain or shine, snow or no. His lunching weather Friday promises to be more of the same: Freezing drizzle or snow.
