Caption: Former Miss America Engaged--Lee Ann Meriwether, Miss America of 1955, embraces her fiance, actor Frank Alatter, in dressing room at Shubert Theater here tonight where he is appearing in a Broadway show. They said that they were engaged New Year's eve and plan to be married in June of July, depending on Alatter's schedule. From San Francisco, she represented California in the 1955 beauty pageant held in Atlantic City, NJ. Alatter is appearing in "Bells are Ringing".
