Caption: Irving Berlin Marks 85th Birthday - Composer Irving Berlin, shown at left in uniform he wore overseas with his "This Is the Army" show, and at right, as he appeared in 1968, will be 85 on Friday. Berlin, who wrote some 850 songs from "Oh, How I Hate to Get up in the Morning" to "God Bless America," will spend the day quietly with family members on his estate in the Catskills.
