John Lewis today was fined $10,000 and his United Mine Workers Union $3,500,000 for refusal to call off the 14 day old walkout by 400,000 soft coal miners. The United Mine Workers president is shown, hat askew and seemingly bewildered by the fine imposed, as he left the District Court house at Washington late today December 4th.
